Our next destination is near Tillamook (pronounced Tillamuuk) in Oregon. Travelling there on the 101 was uneventful, however, near the town of Cloverdale, there were some turns that while the speed limit was 50, some of the turns should be more like 25. There weren’t any signs warning you of the upcoming sharp turn. The first couple of turns I was a little fast and the ride through the turn, while not dangerous, caused Debi and I to lean into the turn and go whooooooooooaaaaaa! After that, I approached the remaining turns a little more cautiously.
Got to the RV park and we have a great spot in the shade and just a short walk to the beach. The photo is at the back of or RV.
Had dinner that night at nearby restaurant called The Schooner. I had some fresh oysters from the bay in front of the RV part, Dungeness crabs, and a great Stout beer. Debi had fish and chips that were the best ever!
On a side note, we’ve sampled some beer from micro breweries along the way and have found some great ones.
