3/31-4/4 We made it! One of the key goals of this trip was to celebrate my cousins, Marie, 98th birthday on April 2nd. And boy did we ever. For someone who is 98, she has the energy, attitude, and spunk of someone half her age. We took her to a famous place in Atlanta called Mary Macs. This place has old fashioned, delicious Southern style cooking. All the usual fixins such as fried Okra, black eyed, peas, grits, fried chicken, pot roast, and many more. We ordered a lot from the menu just to sample it and we took home a lot. We had a great visit with her and .look forward to many more of her birthdays.
